Chang-Hoan Cho is an associate professor, Department of Communication, College of Social Science, Yonsei University, Seoul, S. Korea. He was an assistant and associate professor at the College of Journalism and Communications, University of Florida (2001-2008). Previously he also taught advertising at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (1999 - 2001). He received the Bachelor of Sciences degree in May 1992 from University of Wisconsin-Madison. He also received the Master of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communications in December 1994 from the same institution. In May 1999, Chang-Hoan Cho received the Ph.D. degree in advertising from The University of Texas at Austin. His doctoral dissertation proposal, entitled "How Advertising Works on the WWW: Copytesting and Audience Processing," won the 1998 American Academy of Advertising's Doctoral Dissertation Award. He also won two consecutive awards from @d:tech, the leading conference and expo on digital marketing and advertising ('97 & '98 @d:tech Scholarship Awards). Dr. Cho is listed as the 5th most-cited author in Internet Advertising. He is also listed as the 4th most-publishing author in leasing journals in the Internet-related studies. His current research interests include interactive new media advertising, advertising media, multicultural advertising and international advertising. His work has appeared in various scholarly journals such as Journal of Advertising, Journal of Advertising Research, Journalism and Mass Communication Quarterly, Journal of Broadcasting and Electronic Media, the Journal of Current Issues and Research in Advertising, and several Korean publications.
